My first thought upon receiving this holster was “class”. This holster screams class. First and foremost you see it is of very high quality workmanship. The finish is flawless. The double stitching is perfect. The thickness of the leather coupled with the perfect molding for your gun. It’s a work of art. Next, I noticed the practicality of the snap off feature. This allows you to remove the entire holster without touching your belt. Very convenient, especially if you are a police officer visiting a jail or perhaps a courtroom. For the everyday Joe it means it’s easier to leave your rig in the parking lot before you walk into the office.  Then I tried the holster on for myself. The snap loops are made for a 1.5 inch belt but my 1.75 inches went through snugly. There was a little of that new leather creak that happens in the break in period. But more importantly I noticed comfort. The large sweatguard on this holster made carrying my old 1911 much more comfortable than usual. It’s a top notch holster. It really is that holster you see in the movies and wish you had.
