I don’t know about you but I am afraid. I am afraid of the coming elections. The republican side is down to a choice of 4 possibilities. I can only say I am sure of the stance of 1 of those 4 on guns. 1 of those 4 has never changed his opinion on guns and the 2nd amendment. 1 of those 4 has never supported an “assault weapons” ban. 1 of those 4 has fought to protect your gun rights in the supreme court. Please research the past of the candidates before you vote. It matters more this time than ever.

Why is it a bigger deal this time? Because the next president will likely be the person to add the deciding vote to the supreme court roster. That means one of the 6 candidates from the 2 parties will set the rule of law for the next generation. Recent gun cases have been split 5 to 4 in our favor. It can swing the other way in the blink of an eye. This is the time to stand up for a single issue … protect your guns or you will lose them in time to policies and laws like those implemented by England and Australia.

I have watched for years as the culture of the land I grew up in has eroded away like sand through my fingers. I won’t survive losing my rights too.
