There isn’t too much to say from a reviewers perspective on a paper target. There are tons on the market for sure. The standard we’re used to make us happy if we put shots in the black and happier still if we find a bright or white bull’s eye.
Part of that excitement comes from seeing the hole in the bull immediately. We get instant gratification on a job well done. But most of the time those shots are lost in a field of black that leaves us second guessing ourselves and making blind adjustments. EZ2CTargets can change all of that. The bright coloring of the normally black area allows a shooter to see his/her hits from a much greater distance and allows for both immediate gratification or informed adjustment like no standard target has. Face it not even reactive targets give the feedback we learn with EZ2CTargets. When shooting a reactive target you see hits immediately and may feel great about it, but where did you hit the target? Somewhere in an 8 inch zone? That’s not necessarily going to hone your skill and it won’t win a bullseye match for you.

The Evolution of a Great Target…

Back in 1993, a family of shooters got bored with the same old black targets and frustrated with the inability to see where shots were landing. This combined with being professional printers naturally lent itself to the creation of a new and more efficient target. The designing and printing of targets for family enjoyment began. They needed to be easier to see and offer variety in shooting while still being cost effective. Highly visible fluorescent red ink and contrasting bold black ink were the beginning. Next came designing a target that enhanced and improved the shooter’s skill. A ton of lead and years of trial and error later emerged a dozen different styles of handgun and rifle targets. Style 17 Dot Torture is a comprehensive marksmanship test that is easy to set up. Target has ten 2″ dots. Start with Dot Torture Target at three yards. You have to get all 50 hits to pass. Try to shoot the whole drill without a miss. Then increase your distance or decrease your time. For instance, try to finish the entire drill in less than five minutes while maintaining accuracy.
Style 18 This style has six 2″ black bordered red squares equally spaced on the sheet. The top two squares have 1/4″ black borders. The middle two squares have 3/16″ black borders. The lower two squares have 1/8″ black borders.
